About Us
At Plabable for PA, we focus on high-yield questions written and reviewed by qualified physician associates that mimic the Knowledge-Based Assessment (KBA) online component, giving you the best opportunity to pass on the first attempt.
The Physician Associate National Examination (PANE) is a combined 4-hour online examination comprising a total of 200 single best-answer questions, which is sat in two 2-hour sessions, each comprising 100 questions. The examination tests four skill areas: diagnosis, investigation, management and context of clinical practice. Questions may include images, electrocardiograms and X-rays.
We take pride in staying on par with the current changes in the NHS, and we consistently update our questions and explanations. The answers we provide on Plabable for PA are evidence-based, and our explanations are from various reliable sources such as NICE Clinical Knowledge Summaries, NICE guidelines and the Patient.info website. Our questions are written and reviewed by qualified physician associates, ensuring the level and standard expected for the national examination and closely match the physician associate core competency framework.
We also offer OSCE webinars and a dedicated section on our GEMS to assist you in practising for the 14-station objective structured clinical examination (OSCE).Team
